Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 26th begins at TJ Connor School and ends at the Smith-Warren American Legion Post on Main Street.
Line up at 9:00am in Full Class A Uniforms w/Neckerchief. Sashes optional but encouraged. Wear nice pants. Look good.

Rock City/Allegany State Park Campout

Where: Allegany State Park (Salamanca, NY)

When: Friday, June 6^th to Sunday, June 8^th

Who: ALL members of Boy Scout Troop 140

(Parents are welcome to join us)

Why: To have fun, explore, and CAMP!

What:

* Friday June 6^th

o Leave Friday at 5:00pm from Legion

o Drive to Allegany State Park and set up camp

o We will stop for dinner on the way down – bring $$$

* Saturday June 7^th

o Visit Rock City Park in Olean – a cool park with lots of huge rock formations (big as houses) and caves. This part of NY State was not covered with glaciers during the ice age so the geology is different than our area.

o Mini-Golf in the afternoon

o Morning and evening exploring Allegany State Park (hiking, biking (there are bike trails near the camp ground)

* Sunday June 8^th

o Breakfast

o Return to Rochester around 1:00pm

* Cost is TBD (Approx. $20 per person, covers food, site rental, and admission fees)

* Bring your own gear in a backpack or dufflebag. Be prepared but pack light. See chapter nine of the Boy Scout Handbook.

* We need to know interest ASAP so we can reserve sites at Allegany SP
