Klondike Derby Is Here!
The Lighthouse District Klondike Derby is this Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008
Please meet at the Legion parking lot at 7:30 AM.
We'll put together carpools and leave promptly for Greece Canal Park on Elmgrove Road.
Please remember to dress warmly, bring your own mug, a snack and water.
The weather may change throughout the day, it might be a good idea to bring extra socks and a layer or two.

The Troop has been invited to run the Two-Man Saw event.

We will work on the Communications Merit Badge.
Please bring your worksheets and MB books.

Klondike Skills Training
on Saturday Jan. 26
Meet at Oatka Creek Park Lodge at 9:00 am to help set up.
This is the second part of our skills training with the Webelos II Scouts of Pack 140.
Hot chocolate will be available throughout the morning. Dress for the weather, bring a mug and your mess kits.
Hot lunch at noon.

In Memoriam
Former Troop 140 Scoutmaster Mr. Jere Hoth
passed away on Saturday, Jan 19, 2008 after a long battle with MS. We would like to express our deepest respect and gratitiude for his unselfish and dedicated service to the Scouting youth of this community. We would like to extend our sincerest condolences to his wife Karen, his children Eric, Melinda and Catherine and to all his grandchildren. He served the Troop as Asst. Scoutmaster from 1978 to 1980 and Scoutmaster in 1981 and 1982.
