A Message From Scoutmaster Al Hellaby

"Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a GREAT summer. Now that fall is in the air and we gave you all a little extra time to get settled back into the school routine, it is time to start thinking Scouts. Our first meeting of the season is October 23rd at 7:00 PM. We are going to start out the year with a Court of Honor, so everyone can get those merit badges from summer camp. Also if there are any of you ready to advance you will need to get to me before the end of this week so there is time to schedule a Board of Review. We will also discuss this coming year's calendar as we have cut back the number of meetings due to the fact most all of your advancement will be based on merit badge work.

There is a Merit Badge University planned for Saturday, November 4. If you are interested you need to let me know ASAP as classes are filling up fast. I am hoping to get some of our committee members to run a class or two that day so there will be more space for everyone who wants to participate.
